run cam3-clm3 at 2x2.5 resolution
In the run script, I used set resolution =2x2.5 and set dycore = fv. In the namelist file, I set nelapse =-1 and nhtfrq =2. It produced a file with only 0 time dimension. Then I tried nhtfrq=-1 and it just did not work. Anyone has the same problem? How can I solve this problem? Thanks,

Hi,
I think that you need to set 'nelapse' to a value greater than 31, with a negative sign ie say -32. By default cam 3 default history files ie h0 files contain monthly average values. So one needs to run the model for at least 31 days to get anything written on the h0 file. Does this answer your question? Best regards, Samrat Rao
