reference for sst_rcp8.5 forcing file on cheyenne

Hi all,

I noted that there are two sst forcing file for RCP8.5 scenario on cheyenne (/glade/p/cesmdata/inputdata/atm/cam/sst):
sst_rcp8.5_bias_corrected_2006-2100.nc
sstice_RCP85_2006-2100_c131008.nc

But I could not find any reference on how these data were generated.

My questions are

1) Does anyone have any clue?
2) Are these two recommended forcing files for fixed SST runs that mimic the rcp8.5 sst warming?
3) The sea ice concentration values from the above data are far exceeding [0,1] range, which is confusing. Does anyone know why is that?

Any insights will be appreciated! Thanks!

Best,
Wenwen
