SOM with t31g37 grid

I have the following error when running the slab ocean mod. It seems to be an issue with the input file grid. The grid of the input file seems uneven. My grid is T31g37. Do I need to convert the input file grid to a uniform one? Or is this error caused by other factors?

What do you have for your DOCN_SOM_FILENAME? There is only one gx3v7 grid available for SOM forcing.
