Validation of climate variability for seaborg?

Hi,
I am tring to run CCSM3.0 T31 on seaborg, which is categorized as RL1 in the list of CCSM3.0 supported machines. While climate validation is claimed to have been performed, I'd like to know if climate variability has been validated for seaborg? Thanks.

"Climate validation" means that we have confirmed that the seasonal cycle in
the top-of-model radiation budget in the model ported to seaborg is not
statistically distinguishable from the seasonal cycle in the same quantities
from long controls run on bluesky/blackforest (CCSM class 1 machines).

not sure what you mean by climate variability validation. can you be more
specific?
