sea ice forms everywhere problem

Dear all,

I am working with CESM version 1.2 (F1850 and E1850CN compsets) and met troubles with model modficications.

I changed the calculation processes of solar insolation and zenith angle in CAM4, and modified subroutine <shr_orb_cosz> in <shr_orb_mod.F90> and subroutine <compute_cosz> in <ice_orbital.F90> in order to keep zenith angle consistent. 

First I ran a F1850 configuration and the reuslts seems pretty well. TOA and surface net flux are close to defaut case before any change, also each radiation component (FSNS,FLNT, FSNT, FLNS, etc.) seems good. However, when I applied these changes into a E1850CN run, the results became very strange.  Sea ice starts to form everywhere and TOA radiative forcing stabilize at about -8 W/m2.  Since spatial distribution of radiaition fluxes is reasonal under F1850 case, i cannot understand why this happen (I did not change any model physics). 

Is this problem from slab-ocean and sea ice (For my understanding, the model use script docn_comp_mod.F90 to represent slab-ocean and CICE code for sea ice)?

Can anyone give me some suggestation? This problem puzzles me for a long time...
