SSTs and sea ice concentration fields from CCSM3 T85 x 1 last interglacial simulation

Dear CESM-forum-team

I am working with CCSM4 on the climate of the last interglacial (125 ka, Eemian) testing the influence of different boundary conditions (e.g., Greenland ice sheet topography, Merz et al., 2014 CP). In the most recent effort I am investigating the role of the Eemian sea ice cover. Therefore I would kindly request:

50 years of monthly mean SSTs and sea ice concentration fields from your CCSM3 T85 x 1 simulation
(fully-coupled, 125ka conditions) published as 125ka simulation in Otto-Bliesner et al., 2013 (Phil. Trans. R. Soc. A).

The SSTs and sea ice cover will be used as lower boundary conditions for sensitivity experiments with CCSM4 (F compset).

Dear Gary Strand

Thanks again for the prompt upload of the 125 ka simulation (b30.137). Unfortunately, I have a follow-up request: in the Otto-Bliesner et al., 2013 (Phil. Trans. R. Soc. A) paper the pre-industrial reference are the last 30 years of a 950-years long PI-simulation. According to the information on the CESM homepage (http://www.cesm.ucar.edu/working_groups/Change/experiments/ccsm3-b30020....) this corresponds to the b30.020.ES02 simulation.

Unfortunately, the ESG only provides the monthly mean SSTs and sea ice concentration fields of b30.020.ES02 until the model year 599. Would it be possible to upload the full sea ice and ocean data until model year 950? For the atmosphere this has already been done.

According to my research (comparing the PI simulation with the 125 ka simulation), the SSTs from 550-599 are still too warm, possibly because the b30.020.ES02 simulation has not reached its equilibrium state yet.
