Creating emission files: question about lev

Hello guys!
I want to replace the default SO2 emission with my own SO2 emissions. However, I don't know what the dimension 'lev' means.
Also, I don;t know the unit of it.

Hi QuenTin,

"lev" is the altitude level, units are hPa.
You can see more details about the contents of a variable by performing an ncdump on the file for that variable, for example:
ncdump -v lev <filename>
