Run CESM2 single-forcing ensemble

Hi,

I want to run nudged single-forcing ensembles based on the CESM2 single-forcing ensembles. I was able to find the case directories for all the ensembles created in Simpson et al. 2023, but I'm unsure of what specific namelist changes, code modifications, and CESM version I should be using to create the single-forcing ensembles. Any clarification would be appreciated!

Hi Ash,

These were run with cesm2.1.4-rc.07. I think cesm2.1.4-rc.08 runs on derecho so you could use that. I don't think you need any code modifications. The changes that are needed are all in the namelist settings that specify the forcing files e.g., for the AAER one that would be all this and hopefully you could use this example to figure out the equivalent settings in the namelists for the other ones if you've found the namelists for each of them.
