Dear staff, when I use 200 cores to give 100 grid lnd, the model will report that the number of error nuclei is greater than the number of grids. So if I set it to 200 grid (add 100 grid mask). So are these 200 cores going to compute these 100 valid grids in parallel, or only 100 cores to compute and the other 100 cores are free?
Because I'm running CLM5 Fates. Too slow

I don't think adding 100 non-land gridcells in a land-only simulation will help. I think the model is only going to assign processors to the land gridcells, since there is nothing to model in the non-land gridcells. If I understand your questions.
