24 hours per output file for running a month

Can anyone tell me how to specify these namelist settings to have hourly output with 24 hours per file when I'm running a month of data?

nhtfrq, mfilt

What timestep should I use, ndays, nhours?

For hourly output with 24 hours per file, you should set:
nhtfrq =-1
mfilt = 24
