360-day year

I would like to run stand-alone CAM with 360-day years. This does not appear to be an option in CAM3 though it is an option in ESMF. Has anyone hacked CAM3 to run 360-day years and are willing to share their code?

This is part of a larger effort on my part to make a CAM aqua-planet with the SOM. I want a hemispherically symmetric planet, and 365-day years break this symmetry when interpolating monthly varying input (like the qflux). Other changes for the SOM aquaplanet are fairly simple.

Thanks,
Cecilia

Wouldn't it be easier to set the seasonal cycle of solar heating to be zero, and just be symmetric over the equator? But, actually maybe you want the seasonal cycle for the purposes of seasonal variations in the mixed layer..?
