a question about surface data in the CAM

Hi,

I am trying to change the surface data and making all the surface be

covered by ocean(land grid cells=0) through changing the 0.5*0.5 raw

surafce data. When run the model, the log.out file told me that: "Number of

processes exceeds number of land grid cells". I don't know what's the

meaning clearly and how I can correct.

What's happening is that if you are running the land model (clm) in cam stand-alone there has to be at least as many land grid cells as processors you are using. If you don't want any land at all I would recommend running in aqua-planet mode. See the CAM documentation:
