aborting reason?

When i run pop, the model aborted because barotropic solver did not converged.
I wonder the reason of that.

There are many reasons why the solutions might not converge, so it would be very helpful to have more information about your run.

What configuration are you using (all active components, active ocean only)? Are you using "out-of-the-box" CCSM code, or have you made modifications to the code or input files or parameters? What machine are you running on? When does the problem occur (first timestep, late in the run>? And so on...

The more information you can provide, the easier it will be to find a reason for -- and a workaround to -- your problem.
