About the PFT data

Hi, I am now running CLM3.0 and reading papers about the PFT data.

I wondder if the PFT data I download from the website has include the information of the vegetation fraction cover in 1 km pixel? Or if it take 1km pixel as one PFT with the fraction of 1?
