About U10 (10m wind) from CAM output

Helllo, I'm just wondering how U10 is calculated in the model. Is it computed in CAM, or is it from the coupler where it is used to calculate surface fluexes? Thanks in advance!Hui

U10 is computed in the coupler using the input for the other components (land, ice, ocean)
