Access to hourly precipitation CESM2-LE data

I am looking for hourly total precipitation rate (PRECT) data, which is listed here as an output variable, but is not available under the Climate Data Gateway Data Sets. Is there any way I could have access to this data? I am planning to compare this hourly precipitation data with in-situ observations from the McGill Station and Montreal Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport Station for a regional climate change impact assessment and adaptation project in Montreal, QC, Canada.

Additionally, I am only interested in data for one grid cell in the Montreal region. I was hoping there would be a way to only download data for only that one grid cell in order to minimize the size of the file to be transferred. Please let me know if this is possible.

The hourly precipitation data from the CESM2-LE should be available for download from the gateway later this week.

Unfortunately, subsetting in space isn't yet available for these data, so you'll have to extract the region you want.

Hi Sam, The CESM2LE hourly PRECT dataset is available now at this link: Dataset: CESM2 LENS Atmosphere Post Processed Data 6-Hourly Averages PRECT. Let me know if there are any issues accessing it.
