Adding parameter to namelist file

I need to make a parameter in models/lnd/clm/src/biogeophys/Biogeophysics1Mod.F90 visible through the namelist; how do I do this?

I recommend looking at how other namelist parameters are handled in the clm and using one of them as your template.
