AMOC is too deep and strong

Dear all,

I was trying to run a paleo simulation close to LGM with iCESM1.2. However, the AMOC is very strong and deep after the model ran 400 years. (see attachment).
Here are setups for POP.

lhoriz_varying_bckgrnd = .false.
ldiag_velocity = .false.
ltidal_mixing = .false.
overflows_on = .false.
overflows_interactive = .false.
bckgrnd_vdc1 = 0.514
bckgrnd_vdc2 = 0.313

Any suggestions how do i correct the AMOC? should i reduce some mixing parameters in pop?

Thanks very much :)AMOC_comparison_MIS3.png
