Hi, is the observed data used by the ADF package available for download anywhere? I am running on my local HPC and I didn't see any links on github or the atmosphere diagnostics home page.

Hi Nick,
We sadly don't have an official distribution mechanism for the ADF obs data yet given that we are still working on building up the datasets themselves. However, if you have access to any of the NCAR machines then you should be able to copy/download the ADF obs datasets we have so far, which are all located here:
Of course if you don't have access then please let me know, and I can see about making the public accessibility of the obs a high priority for the development team.

Hi Jesse, thanks for that. I'm not on the NCAR machines so making a copy of the data public would be great, but that said I'm more interested in the model vs model comparisons for now (it was just the Taylor diagrams I think that required obs data, so I switched them off), I was just curious whether it was available already. But in the long run yes definitely I and I'm sure other people will be wanting this data.
