Any documentation out there for detailed explanation of CAM output fields

Hi there,

Is there some online documentation that provides more detailed explanation of the CAM output fields than the default history/master fields lists found at "http://www.cesm.ucar.edu/models/cesm1.1/cam/docs/ug5_2/hist_flds_fv_cam4.html"?

For some variables, the long name is not very clear. For example:

1. TREFHT or RHREFHT: temperature or relative humidity at reference height. What is the reference height? Is it 10m everywhere, like U10 (10m wind speed), or varying with space? Or just 2 meters?

2. UBOT and VBOT: Lowest model level zonal wind. What is the lowest model level?

Thanks.

1. TREFHT is temperature at reference height of 2meter. This is computed using teh surface similairty theory (it computes the profile of temperature between surface and first model level assuming that the surface heat between surafce and first model layer is constant with height). 2. UBOT and VBOT are the U and V on the first model level. It is about 65m in the 30 level vertical resolution (you can look at the variable Z3).
