Aquaplanet version of WACCM?

Hi allI was wondering if there is an aquaplanet version of WACCM available - I know there is CAM aquaplanet but I need good stratospheric resolution, which CAM would not necessarily fullfil. Thanks!Lina

I have done some WACCM aquaplanet tests that seemed to work ok. The main issue is to get some initial conditions for WACCM, here is what I used for my test 2° test: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ojah33008mde7vg/waccm_aqua_ic_test001.nc?dl=0 (This link works now, but will probably break in the future.)  I just used this invocation of create_newcase: ./create_newcase --case /glade/p/work/brianpm/my_cases/cesm2b6_test_waaqua --compset 2000_CAM60%WCTS_SLND_SICE_DOCN%AQP3_SROF_SGLC_SWAV --user-compset --res f19_f19_mg17 --project P######## --run-unsupported The bold text switch to CAM6-WACCM and then switch to the default aquaplanet SST profile. The "--user-compset" flag probably isn't used anymore in the released CESM2.  You will need to figure out what to do for ozone and other forcing. One simple answer for ozone is to use my high-top aquaplanet ozone dataset developed for CFMIP: http://dx.doi.org/10.5065/D64X5653
