Hi,

I am looking for the archived AMIP output for CAM4.0 FV1.9x2.5 and CAM3.1 T42. The monthly output is fine. Is there anyone knows where can I get those data?

Thanks!

There are six AMIP runs done with CAM4 at finite volume 1.9x2.5 resolution; the case names are

f40.1979_amip.track1.1deg.001
f40.1979_amip.track1.1deg.002
f40.1979_amip.track1.1deg.003
f40.1979_amip.track1.1deg.004
f40.1979_amip.track1.1deg.005
f40.1979_amip.track1.1deg.006

The data from these runs are available via the NCAR Earth System Grid portal, at

http://www.earthsystemgrid.org

An example ESG URL is

http://www.earthsystemgrid.org/dataset/ucar.cgd.ccsm4.f40.1990_amip.track1.1deg.001.html

As for CAM3.1 AMIP runs, I'll have to dig up the information on them. I'll reply to this note again, assuming I can find out.

Thank you so much, strandwg. Do you have the AMIP runs for CAM4.0 FV1.9 and CAM3.1 T42 starting from earlier point, say before 1950 and end at least at 2000?

Thanks!

The CAM4 AMIP runs all start at 1979 and end in 2010. None start in 1950.

Thanks! I am not sure whether the amip run for CAM3.1 T42 has longer years?

I had to do some digging, but the CAM3 AMIP run exists only from 1978-2000. The original data for the run (called "eul128x256_d48ttne2amip") will be published into ESG this week.
