b40.1850.track1.2deg.003/b40.1850.track1.1deg.006 CESM tags

I plan to start a branch run from the 1850 control run (b40.1850.track1.2deg.003 - 1deg ocean/2deg atmosphere), but using the 1deg atmosphere ( b40.1850.track1.1deg.006) for that branch run. I want to use the restart files from the 1deg atmosphere and the ocean restart files from the 2deg atmosphere run.
So i was wondering whether both runs used the same CESM tag?

From Andy about the cesm tags:

The b40.1850.track1.2deg.003 case was originally built from the ccsm4_0_beta35 tag. Starting at model year 0587-01-01, the integration was carried out using an executable built from ccsm4_0_beta41. The history file output from these two executables is bit-for-bit for this case.

The b40.1850.track1.1deg.006 case was originally built from ccsm4_0_beta23 but changed to ccsm4_0_beta29 at model year 0301-01-01. I do not know whether these are bit-for-bit or not. At model year 0715-01-01 the nitrogen deposition file was changed and also some source mods in the ocn overflows.F90 source file were made.

After clarifying offine with Hannah, she wants to use the restart files from the 1deg atmosphere/land (b40.1850.track1.1deg.006) but ocean restart files coming from another run (b40.1850.track1.2deg.003).Set an hybrid run from b40.1850.track1.1deg.006:In env_run.xml, set:RUN_TYPE=hybrid
RUN_REFDATE=0300-01-01 (I picked year 300 as an exmpale to show ho to set this, pick the year you want to start from)
RUN_REFCASE=b40.1850.track1.1deg.006
GET_REFCASE=FALSE We will provide later instructions on how to use a spunup ocean with an hydrid run.Note that the instructions on how to run with a spunup ocean in the CESM user guide are for a startup run and NOT for an hybrid run.
