I am looking at the diagnosed barotropic stream function (BSF) variable in the CESM-LE output. The output is only timexlatxlon with no level dimension and so I was wondering if anyone knew if it was computed on a certain z_t level or was some sort of vertically intergrated quantity. I can't seem to find any documentation on how the variable is computed. Thanks!Melissa
