build-namelist error while running cesm_setup CESM1_2_2

Hello,           I am able to create a case for the particular compset FGEOS_C4SSOA_L40CN at resolution f09_f09. But while running ./cesm_setup i face the following error CAM build-namelist - ERROR: No default value found for ncdata
user defined attributes:
key=ic_md  val=20050101
Died at /home/apps/cesm/cesm1_2_2/models/atm/cam/bld/build-namelist line 3384.
ERROR: cam.buildnml.csh failed
ERROR: /home/cas/phd/asz138508/CSM/run_cesm1.2.2/GEOS_Test/preview_namelists failed: 25344

Am I missing some input data??Any suggestion?Thank you

I encountered the exact same problem, can someone point to the right solution? i am using cluster other than Yellowstone. Thanks.
