calculate the surface specific humidity using FHIST outputs

Hello everyone,

I'm coupling CLM5 to CAM6 in an FHIST run. The CLM5 documentation mentions that the specific humidity of surface water can be assumed as the saturation specific humidity of its temperature. I don't have the CLM outputs like TSKIN or TG on the daily scale. In this case, I would like to know if it is valid to use surface temperature (TS) and surface pressure (PS) from CAM to calculate the saturation specific humidity?

Thank you!

I believe TS is the radiative temperature but you should look at the code or ask the CAM Forum to verify that.
