calculation of production of sulphate aerosols

Hi all,
I want to calculate the total production of sulphate aerosols over some time period.
Are so4_a1_CHMP,so4_a2_CHMP and so4_a3_CHMP (referred to CAM History Fields) the right variables and their sum should give me the total production?
The units of so4_a1_CHMP are in molecules /cm3/s. How do i convert these to kg/m2/s?

I will move this to the CAM-Chem forum as aerosols are supported by them
