CAM2 File naming convention

Hi,

I have a question about the CAM2 file naming convention eg: b30.009.cam2.h0.0640-10.nc.
What are the numbers standing for? My question arises as I am trying to figure out if the
data contained in this file are valid for the year 2005.

cam history files, by default, are named:

caseid.cam2.h0.yyyy-mm.nc

so, your file apparently contains the monthly output from october
of year 640...not sure if this data is valid for 2005...hope that helps...
