Does anyone have experience running CAM4 with CLM4SP (CLM4 with prescribed satellite phenology)?
I am currently trying to run standalone CAM4 with the CCSM4 scripts (i.e., the F component set). However, this configuration differs from what I consider a standalone build--CAM with data ice, ocean, and land models. Since configuring CAM with DLND is not supported, I wonder if I could approximate a data land model with the CLM4SP.
Eventually, I would like to force standalone CICE, which is configured with SLND, with output from CAM; thus, my main concern is that running CAM with an active land model will introduce too many variables into the control simulation.
