CAM5 how to use rad_diag_1 to calculate aerosol direct effect

Hi
I'd like to calculate the single aerosol direct effect(so4 or bc etc.) using cam5, and I found rad_diag_1 in the namelist.
how can I use rad_diag_1 to calculate aerosol direct effect?
I don't konw the format of rad_diag_1.
Please suggest me.
