HI,I am running a AMIP4K type simulation using the CAM5 (from CESM1.2.2) using the F_1850-PDAY_CAM5 compset with the f19_f19 resolution. I have increased the default AMIP SSTs uniformly by 4K, and changed a few parameters in the ZM convective scheme. The run starts in "1979" and gets mid way through 2001 and crashes with a segmentation fault (this error is reproducible). I have run the exact same type of simulation on the same machine without changing the parameters in the convective scheme and it runs successfully. Below is the only error message I receive (in cesm.log.*):forrtl: severe (174): SIGSEGV, segmentation fault occurredImage PC Routine Line Source cesm.exe 0000000001371292 tp_core_mp_xtpv_ 469 tp_core.F90cesm.exe 000000000136A299 tp_core_mp_tp2c_ 119 tp_core.F90cesm.exe 000000000134C5E2 sw_core_mp_c_sw_ 309 sw_core.F90cesm.exe 00000000012B4DE5 cd_core_ 732 cd_core.F90cesm.exe 00000000010D1CD2 dyn_comp_mp_dyn_r 1822 dyn_comp.F90cesm.exe 0000000000F1C350 stepon_mp_stepon_ 422 stepon.F90cesm.exe 000000000048B721 cam_comp_mp_cam_r 250 cam_comp.F90cesm.exe 000000000047EE28 atm_comp_mct_mp_a 561 atm_comp_mct.F90cesm.exe 000000000040DB34 ccsm_comp_mod_mp_ 4079 ccsm_comp_mod.F90cesm.exe 000000000042B6DD MAIN__ 91 ccsm_driver.F90cesm.exe 0000000000407F6C Unknown Unknown Unknownlibc.so.6 00007FFFF670BD5D Unknown Unknown Unknowncesm.exe 0000000000407E69 Unknown Unknown Unknown Has anyone encountered this error before or have any theories as to what might be causing it?
