CAM5: significant energy conservation error after gwdrag

Hi all,

I have run CAM5 (not WACCM) standalone simulation with non-orographic gravity wave (NOGW) turned on, i.e., use_gw_convect = .true.; use_gw_front = .true.; effgw_beres = 0.55; effgw_cm = 1; frontgfc = 3.0D-15; taubgnd = 2.5D-3.

The simulation was completed normally, but the error message was repeatedly printed in the log: significant energy conservation error after gwdrag. (I have set print_energy_errors = .true.)

I have confirmed that no error message appears when NOGW is turned off. Plus, the momentum_energy_conservation subroutine doesn't seem to have a problem.

I would really appreciate any advice on this issue.

Have a nice day :)
