CCSM for CLM-CN

Hi, I'm interested in forcing CLM-CN in offline mode for future climate scenarios (for a region in PNW) using extracted driving variables from the CAM of CCSM as described in Thornton et al., 2007 GBC., as follows:

"For these simulations we created such a data set by extracting 25 years (a) of hourly results from the atmospheric model component of CCSM (the Community Atmosphere Model, CAM [Collins et al., 2006]), from an experiment in which CAM and CLM were run in a partially coupled model (prescribed sea surface temperatures and sea ice distributions)" (page 2).

I'll talk w/ Peter about this, but in the mean time would appreciate any comments regarding this idea. Thank you in advance!
