CESM 1.2.2 AMIP run input files

HelloI am trying to run the F_AMIP_CAM5 compset at 1 degree resolution in CESM 1.2.2 While running the experiment, the following lines come up after completing year 2005 ;(shr_sys_abort) WARNING: calling shr_mpi_abort() and stopping
(shr_sys_abort) ERROR: GETFIL: FAILED to get /cesm/inputdata/atm/cam/chem/trop_mozart_aero/emis/ar5_mam3_so2_surf_1850-2005_c090805.nc

This file is also not available on input data repository.Kindly help

Hi,This file is available on the server. If you are tying to run after 2006, the file will not support as its only upto 2006

The error message is misleading. The issue is that there is no data availble after 2005. You could use one of the rcp file after 2005 or create your own files

Dear HannayThanks for the reply. I also wanted to ask that if I want to run AMIP simulations to generate different ensembles for different initial conditions how should I go about this?

You can change the namelist variable pertlim.
This variable perturb the initial conditions for temperature randomly by up to the given amount. This only works for initial simulations.
