Hi! I’m running a ne30 fixed-SST experiment with CESM 1.3.1 and encountered the following error:
ERROR: negative layer thickness. Timestep or remap time too largeI tried adjusting ATM_NCPL=72 and ne_split=8, and the model runs successfully, but it is extremely slow, after 10 hours, I only obtained 16 months of output.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to diagnose or resolve this issue? Thank you!
