CESM1.2.z - WACCM nuclear winter compset (BNUKE_C4WBC_L40CN) starts from wrong reference case

  • CESM1.2.2 has replaced this compset with the control run version. Only the ncdata change is necessary, and only if you want a nuclear winter case.
(Bugzilla 1768) These changes are necessary for either a control run or not:

The following must be added to user_nl_cam to get an actual nuclear winter:
