[CESM2.0.1] Failed on building a case; No rule to make target "libocn.a"

Hi, I am a PhD student trying to get CESM2.0.1 running on my group's cluster. CESM2.0.1 was downloaded and I tried to use compset=F2000climo, res=f09_f09_mg17. The building process fails when building "cesm" with the error message as shown in the attached log.

I am guessing I missed the file to make "libocn.a", or I failed to make the "libocn.a" in a previous step, because of line #67 in the build log attached.

Would you please give me some hints on how I shall tackle the problem? Thank you so much.

I also included my Macros.make to show my dependency settings.

You must have had an error in the ocn.bldlog prior to this one.  Also $USER should be defined in your environment, most linux environments define this variable by default but you may need to add it.

Thank you for your prompt reply. There is not building log for the ocn sub-model, not sure if it's because the compset uses data ocean only. $USER is defined in my system, and I am using $USER to hide my username as advised by our system admin.
