CESM2-LE SOILLIQ and TSOI vertical coordinate differences

Greetings,

My name is Stefan Rahimi. I am about to dynamically downscale the CESM2-LE, and I noticed that the vertical coordinates between SOILLIQ and TSOIL are different.

The former has 20 (levsoi) levels without a defined vertical coordinate, while the latter has 25 (levgrnd) levels with a defined vertical coordinate. Is SOILLIQ just defined on the first 20 vertical levels given by levgrnd in TSOI?

There is no vertical coordinate for levsoi in the SOILLIQ files in:
/glade/campaign/cgd/cesm/CESM2-LE/timeseries/lnd/proc/tseries/day_1/SOILLIQ

on NCAR Campagin
