change CAM3 to be adapted for Mars' Atmosphere

Hi:

I am trying to change the CAM3 to be adapted for Mars' Atmosphere. I want to finish this task in the following three steps:
(1) change the solar constant, orbit, grviaty, radius, surface type and so on;
(2) change the pressure;
(3) change the physics package

Now, I have finish the first step, but I have no idea how to begin the second step. Does anybody like to give me some suggestion?

Thanks very much.

Hi Jun - I know this post is several years old at this point - but were you ever able to change the surface pressure? I'm am trying to change the surface pressure in CESM1.2 and also finding it pretty difficult.-Rich
