Change the frequency that clm initial files are output

Dear All,   I want change the frequncy of clm initial files (couple with cam). Following the cam namelist instruciton(http://www.cesm.ucar.edu/cgi-bin/eaton/namelist/nldef2html-cam5), I saw the hist_ctrinic may be work. However, when the build-namelist utility works, the error occur like thatVariable name hist_ctrinic not found in ...../namelist_definition.xml. How can I make it? Thanks in advance!

Also, I checked the controlMod.F90 which initializes the clm_inparm goupr namelist, it is indeed no hist_ctrinic variable exist. Is it a bug?

It appears that the hist_ctrinic variable was removed from CLM.  Try asking in the CLM forum for how to do this.
