Changes in ZM scheme (dt-cesm1.0_cesm1_2_2_1)

Hi all,

I am using dt-cesm1.0_cesm1_2_2_1 with CAM4 to integrate some Eocene simulations.
I looked at the ChangeLog for cesm1_2_2_1: https://svn-ccsm-models.cgd.ucar.ed...sm1_2_2_tags/dt-cesm1.0_cesm1_2_2_1/ChangeLog

There are some changes in the ZM scheme in this version (I don't know much about this scheme).
Can anyone please explain how the changes made in the ZM scheme of cesm1_2_2_1 will impact the simulations in CAM4 (compared to cesm1_2_2)?

This branch is not supported by NCAR and I am unable to answer your question directly.

The notes on the commit indicate that the user mathew.v.rothstein@noaa.gov made both the commits that you are interested in. I do not know if he still is at this email address or not, but it might be a place to start.
