Hi,

I am changing the medlynintercept throught following the range used in PPE (0,200 000). However, this results in negative h2osoi_liq.

I have an example case and log file to reproduce this issue on cheyenne:
/glade/scratch/elkoukah/I2000_PPEn12CTSM51_ucrb_6km_livneh_dpl.spin_001/run/cesm.log.2353589.chadmin1.ib0.cheyenne.ucar.edu.230804-075639
/glade/work/elkoukah/cases/I2000_PPEn12CTSM51_ucrb_6km_livneh_dpl.spin_001

Do you think this issue is because of the parameter range? e.g., (should the range be reduce?)

Please note that I have merged PPE.n12_ctsm5.1.dev030 branch with master (and some modification to read spatially distributed parameters from surface dataset).

Thanks so much!

If you only changed the medlyn intercept, then I cannot think of anything else that would explain the negative value.

I am not specifically familiar with this work, but you could answer the question by submitting simulations with other values in the range.
