CICE input data for B20TR?

Hi,I'm trying to run CESM1.2 in the B20TR configuration on sierra at LLNL.  The last few lines of cesm.log.xxx give me PGFIO/stdio: No such file or directory
PGFIO-F-/OPEN/unit=95/error code returned by host stdio - 2.
File name = /p/lscratchd/marvel1/ccsm3data/inputdata/ice/cice/iced.0001-01-01.gx1v6_20080212
In source file /g/g15/marvel1/svnwork/cesm1_2_0/models/ice/cice/src/source/ice_read_write.F90, at line number 86
srun: error: sierra21: task 8: Exited with exit code 127
srun: First task exited 240s ago
srun: tasks 0-7,9-79: running
srun: task 8: exited abnormally
srun: Terminating job step 193508.0 ... more I checked $CASEROOT/Buildconf/cice.input_data_list and it's empty, so $CASEROOT/check_input_data -export fails to update anything:./check_input_data -inputdata $INPUTDATA -export
Input Data List Files Found:
./Buildconf/clm.input_data_list
./Buildconf/pop2.input_data_list
./Buildconf/cam.input_data_list
./Buildconf/cpl.input_data_list
./Buildconf/rtm.input_data_list
./Buildconf/cice.input_data_list Trying to get the ice file manually doesn't work:svn export --username guestuser https://svn-ccsm-inputdata.cgd.ucar.edu/trunk/inputdata/ice/cice/iced.0001-01-01.gx1v6_20080212 /p/lscratchd/marvel1/ccsm3data/inputdata/ice/cice/iced.0001-01-01.gx1v6_20080212
svn: GET of '/!svn/bc/13616/trunk/inputdata/ice/cice/iced.0001-01-01.gx1v6_20080212': Could not read response body: Secure connection truncated (https://svn-ccsm-inputdata.cgd.ucar.edu) So I guess I have two questions: first, is there a cross-reference to make sure I have all the necessary input data to run B20TR if it's not downloaded by cesm_setup?  And second, is anyone else getting an empty cice input data list when configuring compset B20TR? Thank you very much,Kate

Hi Kate,Did you retry the export again? It might be the SVN server was down. Also, is your cice.input_data_list empty? There was a bug in 1.1 where this was not being populated, but it should have been fixed in 1.2.Dave

Hi Dave,Thanks for your response.  The cice.input_data_list is empty.  I retried the export several times - I have no problem downloading most of the atm input data, but can't get the cice file for some reason.Kate

The cice.input_data_list issue was supposed to be fixed in 1.2.0. Let me look into this. Are you in Breck this week? I know the manual export has worked for others, so I'm not sure what the issue is there. I will look into this further, but maybe we can catch up this week.Dave

Updates:1. I was eventually able to manually export the relevant cice file and the B20TR run is now going along nicely.2. I created a new case using the B_RCP8.5_CN compset, and once again cice.input_data_list is empty.3. I double-checked to verify that I didn't do anything dumb like checkout the wrong version and mislabel it, and it looks like I really am using 1.2.0.I'm unfortunately not in Breck this week but it looks like everything I need for the time being is working fine.  Thank you very much for all your help!
