CLDLOW/MED and HGH output variables

Hi all,

could anyone suggest where I need to look to find more information about how some history tape variables are calculated? Specifically for the cloud output variables, what levels in the atmosphere are CLDLOW, CLDMED and CLDHGH integrated across?

For diagnostic purpose, CAM computes 3 level of cloud fraction assuming maximum-random overlap. These 3 levels are bounded by the pressure levels:
CLDLOW: surface pressure to 700 mb
CLDMED: 700 mb to 400 mb
CLDHGH: 400 mb to the model top.
