CLM compset sensitivity runs fail with CTSM5.2.005 CLM6.0 because of fsurdat file

My task is to run different compsets with the goal to compare specific variables especially between CLM with and without FATES.
I want to start with the most obvious/simple case I2000CLM60SP with a resolution of 0.5x0.5 degrees (ne60_g17).
I attached the compile script.
The problem is following output:

ERROR: Command /users/jgpel/CTSM/bld/build-namelist failed rc=255
out=
err=ERROR : CLM build-namelist::CLMBuildNamelist::add_default() : No default value found for fsurdat.
Are defaults provided for this resolution and land mask?

So, I assume I`m missing a default fsurdat file.
Could someone please point me to an appropriate fsurdat and where to actually find it if there is no standard solution?

Do you need to use the spectral element grid? Can you try the standard 0.5 deg grid (hcru_hcru). A surface dataset at that resolution might be available depending on the model version you are using (which is?).
