CLM fire emissions (CFIRE) do not appear to affect CAM when branching from CMIP6 BHIST restart

Dear CESM Community,

I am running the compset
SSP370_CAM60%CFIRE_CLM50%BGC-CROP_CICE_POP2_MOSART_SGLC_SWAV
to simulate fire activity and associated emissions and ice feedback to the emissions

However, after checking the results, I found that fire emissions from CLM do not appear to affect CAM as expected.

For initialization, I used the official CMIP6 historical restart case
b.e21.BHIST.f09_g17.CMIP6-historical.010_v2.

I would appreciate any guidance on whether additional coupling settings are required for CLM fire emissions to be passed to CAM, or if there may be inconsistencies between the historical restart and the SSP370 configuration.

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards,
Huihui

Thanks for writing, Huihui. As this is a chemistry compset, I'm forwarding over to the CAM-chem forum for further insights.
