CLM3.0 does not run with 0.5 deg 3hourly (daily) Princeton data set

Hi, I am new in this field. I want to run CLM3.0 with 0.5 Degree 3 hourly Princeton dataset, downloaded from the site http://hydrology.princeton.edu/data/pgf/0.5deg/daily/ but model fails to rum. It runs with the NCEP data (1997-1998) which is downloaded with the model software. Where should I make the changes in the code? so that CLM can read Princeton dataset properly. Many many Thanks

We do not support the clm3 due to two more recent releases that have occurred: clm3.5 and clm4.

Regardless, you should be able to find where the default data is read by the clm and modify the code.
