Components choice when running CESM 1.2.2

Hi,I am going to use the CAM-Chem inside the CESM 1.2.2 to run some general simulations of the air quality simulation in 2000 driven by the GEOS5 meteorology, and I also want to turn on the inline option of the MEGAN_v2.2. So is it OK that I use the component of "FGEOS_C4MOZ_L40CN", with the CAM4, MOZ-TROP mechanism?I saw a post here:https://bb.cgd.ucar.edu/cam5-mam3-het-rate-missing#comment-1009314Saying that " F_2000_MOZMAM_CN. is not scientifically valided", and Simone suggested to use the "F_2000_STRATMAM3_CN". So what does this "scientifically valided" mean, and how can I know which component is valided or not? Thanks!

I only saw "F_AMIP_CNF_AMIP_CAM5F_2000_WACCMF_2000_WACCMX"For the "stand-alone" component configurations under CESM 1.0.6. So what does that mean? Does that mean that I only need to create the cases from these four and then make changes in the "env_run.xml" and "user_nl_cam" in the CESM 1.2.2 for my study purpose?[/b]Thanks![/b]

I would say that you should use whatever configuration Simone recommends. Even if it isn't listed on the website, she would know which compsets are currently considered validated from the perspective of the chemistry working group, which is probably more relevant than the documentation compiled during the last CESM release. The "scientifically validated" list on the website is focused on basic, widely-used configurations, and doesn't cover CAM-CHEM right now.

Hi Yunqiang,I am very beginer of CAM-chem. It is highly appreciated if you could tell me where I cna download CAM-chem code (or CESM 1.2.2). Thanks.
