Create your own compset

I want to create a new compset. To do this, I can look at the existing once to figure out what I can use for mine. However, is there a place where all the possible options are described?

Creating your own compset is possible, but we caution you that this generally requires expert-level knowledge of CESM. See the section "How do I create my own compset?" in the CESM1.0 User's Guide
http://www.cesm.ucar.edu/models/cesm1.0/cesm/cesm_doc/book1.html

To view all possible compset environment variables, see the file $CCSMROOT/scripts/ccsm_utils/Case.template/config_compsets.xml and look for the sections marked with the comment lines "env_conf.xml - drv", "env_conf.xml - ccsm", "env_conf.xml - cam", etc.

Once you know the possible compset options, you should check the documentation for each environment variable you wish to change or add, to ensure that your configuration is what you want.
