Followed by the discussion here BSSP compset for CESM2.2.0, I modified the cime_config.xml files like this:
After running the simulations, I checked the results. The model successfully implemented my development and read the land use change under scenarios. However, it seems that there is no temperature trend. This may indicate that: the co2 and other GHG concentration may have been kept constant. Considering that the comspets are called BSSP126, BSSP370 and BSSP585, I assumed that the model should use co2 files under RCP scenarios.
The cases are on Cheyenne: /glade/work/yiyao/cases/BSSP126_IRR01
The outputs are in /glade/scratch/yiyao/BSSP126_IRR01
I checked the log files (atm one), and it proved my assumption.
Since I still want to run these simulations, I guess I need to implement these stuff in namelist manually (I guess we need to be very careful to make sure that all related namelist variables shall be assigned)? Or what could we do so BSSP scenarios can read these files by themselves?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Yi
